We are glitch: a collective of experienced and passionate artists, led by founder stephan and his best friend alessandro with a vision for a new kind of salon. each artist lends their own unique perspective and vibe to their practice, tailoring the experience to suit the wants and needs of the person in front of them. every day requires a new angle and a new attitude, and that’s how we like it.

We take the traditional salon experience and turn it on its head. we’re not interested in providing a list of stale, one-size-fits-all services - what we want to give each and every person who steps into our space is a tailored experience that fits their personality and aesthetic. each person we see is an individual, and we exist to reflect that. there are no stupid ideas, no plan too ambitious, no request too niche or challenging.

Early in his life, stephan spotted a need that wasn’t being fulfilled: a need for people to experience hair, beauty and personal aesthetics beyond the salon. he recognised that all of these things - our hair, or make up, our tattoos, our fashion - are a personal embodiment of art, that they can capture huge ideas and passions. but they were stripped away from other art forms, like music, canvas and sculpture, and shrunk into tiny boxes - let’s call them ‘salons’.

stephan’s idea was to create multi-purpose spaces that were inclusive but luxurious, nurturing rather than prescribing. glitch exists not only as a place for people to evolve their appearance, but for them to engage with art.
